[z88dk-dev] z88dk wiki

Post by alvin »

For a long time I've thought we needed to organize the wiki better so I gave it a start tonight:

http://www.z88dk.org/wiki/doku.php?id=temp:front

I don't think I succeeded too well though -- it seems too rambly and lengthy for a front page. I'm going to persevere anyway, merge from the current front page and add more substantial documentation that is currently missing.

I'm reviving this post since even me.. I'm a bit lost in trying to actually use z88dk.
The quickstart guide scares a little: now I try to follow it and perhaps to help to re-arrange the introduction while being introduced.

I agree with you there - there is quite a bit of important information missing and the quickstart guide isn't really fleshed out like it should be.

I was planning to add some of that missing info to the quickstart so I'll try to do that tonight before you start wading through the information there.

I've started to document the targets for the new c lib. There is quite a lot to do unfortunately.

The first bit on the embedded target is here:

I'm trying to give a complete overview without going too far into how things work, which would be better available from the main general page. There is still lots to do but let me know if you find it unreadable still.
